So after we finished up in Northern Utah at my grandma Zola's house we headed down south to Cedar to visit my family! It was everyone's first time meeting her and it was really great seeing her showered with so much love! I was also really glad to be almost done with the first half of the driving! I think the two people I was the most excited for her to meet were my grandpa Max (my only living grandpa since I was about 9 months old) and my nephew Jaxten!
Everyone else got a turn to hold her too and it was great being able to share that moment with our family!
Aunt Jess and Em

There were many other people over who also got to hold her, but those were the most special moments to me! It was really nice to be able to see everyone, but by that time all of us were pretty exhausted! So we headed to my parent's house and were able to rest until the next day.
The next day Em had her well baby check and her two month vaccinations. Epic sad face. There was a whole mix up with the appointment and the girl at the counter threw me some MAJOR TUDE. Totally unappreciated! Anyway! She got all of her shots and cried for a solid 10 seconds and then calmed down. She gave some really big stink eye on the way out and it made me laugh!
Poor bandaged thighs...
She had a fever for the rest of the day and most of the next day, but started to feel better after that. She mostly just wanted to be snuggled and we were all happy to oblige. Poor bandaged thighs...
Even Wrigley, my parent's boxer, got in on the love!
Speaking of Wrigley, she would not stop taking the baby's binkies! If we left a room and there was a binky sitting around, she was so helpful in bringing it into the other room. Not to give to the baby, but to enjoy herself! We finally got tired of trying to get the binkies back and having to throw them away, that we gave her one of her own! If you look closely you can see a pink binky in her mouth!
After Em's doctor appointment, we went out shopping and found her a tiny baby-kini! My dad even found her some little pink and white polka dotted sunglasses to match! We found the swimsuit at Old Navy and it was adorable. We also got baby flip flops but they are still a little too big!
She is majorly milk drunk in the picture below! She is seriously the cutest thing that has ever happened to me!
We put her in my parents pool and let her float around for a little bit. She liked being in the water much more though. She did really good practicing holding her breath after a count of 3! She learned so quickly that when we were getting her out of the pool, my mom counted to 3 and she held her breath with out any coercion!
On our way out of town, we stopped at my grandparent's house and did her baby blessing! We wanted it to be more special and small than if we did it any where else. I didn't take any pictures, but my sister-in-law Jess who is a photographer, took plenty! She also did her baby photos and they are stinking amazing. Here are a couple that she has already sent us!
She owns JLD Photography in Cedar City, UT and she is amazing! Seriously, look her up!
