3 months!

So Emilia is going to be 3 months old tomorrow! In some ways I can't hardly believe it and in others I totally believe it! I know that every parent thinks that their child is so much farther ahead than every one else's, and I am no different! Plus she totally is.

Here are some things about Miss Em:

- She has been rolling over since she was 18 days old. At first we thought that it was a fluke, but she kept doing it. If she doesn't want to do tummy time, you have to sit right by her and keep her from flipping over.
- She is pretty opinionated and I can see a little stubborn streak in her! That makes me pretty happy. Not for my sake, I'm sure the stubbornness will come and bite my butt. Mostly it makes me happy for the strong person she is going to grow up and become!
- She loves bath time! We don't use the infant tub anymore. She loves just laying in the bath in a few inches of water. She goes absolutely mental! She kicks her legs like crazy and her arms get flailing too! She gets so excited when she gets good and going.
- In the last little while she has started laughing in response to our laughter. It is the cutest thing in the world!
- She is talking more and more, and her syllables are really starting to show. Sometimes I play this pitch game with her where I will make a noise in a certain pitch and she will mimic it exactly. Then I will change the pitch and so will she! Pretty adorable.
- She likes to stand up and talk to you eye to eye. She has liked standing up for a while now. She has really strong legs!
- She sleeps in pretty good chunks at night. Usually a 5-6 hour chunk and then a 2-3 hour chunk. Sometimes more! Getting her to go down didn't used to go so well, but I really just let her tell me when she is tired now, instead of trying to force it. Doing that has made me so much more relaxed at night.
-She is still 100% breastfed and doing it like a champ. She picked it up immediately after birth and hasn't had any problems in that department. My goal is 6 months of 100% breastfeeding, followed by pureed food introduction as well as breastfeeding. It's going really great so far.
-Her eyes have turned a million different colors. Before we went to Utah they were pretty hazel. Then while in Utah they were pretty blue. Now they are a gorgeous dark green/grey and I love them. She just has these perfectly shaped big eyes!
-She has one curl on top of her head and it makes her look like a little who!
-She sleeps in her nursery at night and has been for the last two weeks. It is still a little bit of an adjustment but she is doing really well. As much as I miss her being right next to me, it is nice to have our room back. And our video monitor is amazing and lets me check on her constantly. Otherwise I don't think I could have done it!
-Also, this picture may be a little misleading, because she doesn't ever take a binky. It will be in her mouth for all of 5 seconds before she spits them out. She prefers to suck on her fingers. Which isn't great but is pretty stinking cute.
