Hyrum and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary this last week! Unfortunately he had to work and was out of town on the actual day! I ended up taking the day off, and spent it getting pampered. It was a little depressing at first, but then my day turned around quickly! He had flowers delivered to the house... and they were gorgeous!

Lovely yes?
He came home this weekend and had a surprise trip planned for us! Even as we got in the car, I had no idea where we were going. It wasn't until we were about an hour out of Portland that he stopped playing pranks on me and taking alternate routes, and I found out we were headed to Seattle for the weekend!
My "we aren't really driving to yellow stone, are we?!" face

The drive was great, and for part of it we had a police escort!

We had mostly decent weather when we got there and we spent the first little while deciding where to stay. We finally picked a place right on the water front. It was really cute and had a great view!

Us being dorks and riding the elevators.

Just a peek of our view from our deck.

After settling in, we went off to explore. We have been to Seattle a few times, but almost always to see NFL games. But this was an entirely different type of trip!

We headed over to the market to waste a bunch of money and kill some time.

We had amazing crepes downstairs at Crepe de France. They were AWESOME!

Followed by more amazing food

We listened to great music

We just had a great time roaming around.

We went to dinner at a great place called Bistro 2100, where we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. It was amazing food and a perfect atmosphere!

H had this huge steak with blue Oregonzola cheese

And I had a great fresh crab citrus salad with avocado

This morning we headed over to the Space Needle, why not considering it was so close to our hotel!

The view was totally amazing and worth the elevator ride up.

Our complimentary photo of awesomeness

We saw and did so much more than what I posted, but at this point... I'm bushed! Too many photos, too little time. I've been living too much life to spend all of my time blogging, and now that I have just spent the last 2 hours doing it, I understand why!
Here is to the hopes that I blog a little more! * Don't get your hopes up!
Have a great week!
