I am blogging entirely with cell phone pictures!
So Halloween was this last weekend, obviously. We decorated the house all scary and got ready for trick or treater's!

I didn't have to work on Monday so a couple of us girls decided to dress up the Saturday before.
We are soo tough.
We did some goodies of course!

Sunday morning, Hy and I went out to brunch at a great place in northwest Portland called The Stepping Stone Cafe.
Hy ordered an omelet that had an entire chicken fried steak inside of it... also veggies and slapped with country gravy. Oh and also a PUMPKIN MANCAKE. Yes MANCAKE.
I had a great spinach and potato dish. Amazing quality, tons of food, ridiculously low price. We took a cinnamon roll home with us to eat while watching football.
It was to DIE FOR!

Now that the weather is getting a lot colder, I have been cooking a lot at home.

The wedding cake that Maria, Angel, and myself worked on. Maria did the bulk and then Angel and I delivered it down Hawthorne. It was stacked and piped on location.
I hope everyone has a great couple of weeks. I am sure I will disappear into the pie void for the next 3 weeks. I hope to see you all on the other side!

Thank you. That picture of Ruger makes me smile how pink his face is, just like Wrigley. How come we didn't eat there?
