part 1 of 2

Melissa gave me the opportunity this week to design and decorate two more cakes. These two are for a VERY belated office Christmas party! One is in the fridge at Sweet Cakes only crumb coated, but I was able to finish one today. It is the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry cake ( yes sliced strawberries on the inside mmmm...)

I am still not the greatest but I can definately tell some improvement from the last time...soo PROGRESS. Maybe tomorrows will be even better... one can hope... but until then.....

I decided to do the darker (chocolate) cake with more of a winter vibe and the butter cake (tomorrows) has more of a spring feel! And if you look closely ( not too closely I hope) you can see that all of the white fondant pieces have been touched with luster dust so that they sparkle!
