We both took the day off and got to spend the whole day together. It was so much fun! We started the day off by going to breakfast at Biscuits Cafe.

The pancakes are absolutely dreamy!
After breakfast we went shopping for a few hours, followed by a movie. We went and saw True Grit. It was LEGEN....wait for it... DARY!!

There is a scene where one of the bad guys gets four of his fingers cut off and it happens so fast that it will scare the crap out of you. Did NOT see that one coming.
After that we went to a really great dinner at Binnigan's Road House. Soo tasty. I had the Halibut and Macaroni and Cheese. Drool. Seriously.
The last few days I had been working on a cake for the neighbor's daughter. It was her 18th birthday and they wanted me to do something special for her. For a few nights I worked on some fondant roses, which are always fun, if a little time consuming.

It turned out pretty good, and I had a blast doing it. I was also glad to get it out of my fridge though!
So may I present Caitlin's 18th birthday cake!

I HAVE to show this picture of Rue! He is growing like a weed on crack!

Last time we weighed him, he was around 25 lbs, and he is was only 11 weeks at that time. He is 13 weeks right now and still getting bigger!
This is Rue and Hemi, snuggling each other. (Crappy phone picture!)

When Hy is out of town Rue likes to think that this is spot. And let me just tell you, that it is NOT! But it sure cute. You know, until he steps on your hair.

Let me interrupt the puppy overload with some cupcakes.

* I just want to spill out some love for Hy. I couldn't imagine a better husband or partner to spend the rest of my life with. He is just the most considerate and wonderfully funny human being I have ever met. I am lucky to have such an amazing husband to spoil on his birthday! I wouldn't want to spend my years with a single other person!

I want to close by letting you know that I am going to be an aunt again! We are so proud of Josh and Jess, and we are praying for them to have a healthy and happy pregnancy!
