Oh Friday... how I missed you

Tomorrow is Friday, so you know what that means....Kelly's Korner. Oh yes Kelly's Korner. Its all about wedding parties this week, keeping up with the wedding palooza.

Lets get to the Nitty Gritty

--------------------------------------
Flowers!

I loved my bouquet. It was made up of giant lilies, off white roses, lily of the valley, and a light star gazer or two. My ladies carried lilies as well. There were lilies all over the place and seeing as they are my most favorite flower, I was definitely happy.

I also carried a hanky down with me.My mother had been saving this hanky for me ever since I was a little girl, and kept it safely kept in her cedar chest until this day. It smelled beautifully.

--------------------------------------------------

We decided to have 3 groomsmen and 3 bridesmaids (we just couldn't cut anybody!)

My Hy chose (from right to left) Addison, Randy, and Dave. Dave is one of Hyrum's brother and the one he is the most close to (he lives in Vancouver down the road from us). Randy and Addison have been his good friends since they were little kids, and Addison was our roommate for almost a year. Handsome fellas.

My ladies from left to right:

For my maid of honor there was only ever one choice. Sarah and I are first cousins (our moms are sisters) and we grew up side by side. We are only 2 months apart in age so growing up we always rushed back together! She is one of my closest friends still to this day.

Jess is my sister in law, and not only did she give me the CUTEST nephew EVER, but she has been a really great friend.

And finally Tami! We have been friends since I first moved to Hurricane (age 11)and when we are together we never stop laughing. My favorite memories of growing up usually involve her!

-------------------------------------------------

My ring "bear" was the very handsome nephew Jaxten who was walked down by my oldest brother Josh (his daddy).

-------------------------------------------------

We wanted a really low key wedding with no big frills or "ta dahs" but something that felt really close and tight knit. They built a bench specially for us to put in the enclosure so that my parents and grandparents could sit there. It made us feel as though there was 10 people and the other guests * outside of the enclosure* didn't exist.

We were married on a cliff over looking the desert and the hurricane valley, at the Devito Estate, by my bishop/neighbor/high school guidance counselor/friend Jody Rich. His introduction was very sweet and special to us.
