Johnsons and more...

I had a great time in Utah but it felt natural to sink back into my baking world. Been making candies and all sorts of goodies all week long. Next week?? I have a practical involving a tempered chocolate box, orange squares, and jellies. Followed by 5 whole days of structural gingerbread work, using atleast 10 other recipes(Fondant, Marzipan, gum paste,Pastillage, the works). I am really excited.

We hung our Christmas stockings above our fireplace and are just starting to get everything out of storage to go holiday crazy.

I found you this morning thru Angie's blog. I will be praying for your family. Some neat coinsidences...I have no kiddos (we're adopting!)and my girl name since high school has been Taylor McKenzie. So neat that you love to bake. I honestly do not cook anything. I am totally dreadful in the kitchen...not my gift I guess. I am blessed with a great hubby who loves to cook and I love to clean so we spend lots of time in the kitchen together! I also LOVE cake! I've told friends and coworkers that birthday cake should be it's own food group! Enough of my rambling...prayers for your family and HUGS from Illinois!
